Skipper was born and raised in Hong Kong and has a Master's Degree in Design Management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to that, Skipper studied art and design in Manchester, England. She was the Design Director for a multinational company that exported apparel around the world.

 

Since 2020, Skipper has been blending her design expertise with enthusiasm for new ink art painting. Skipper's abstract flowers are a reminder to appreciate life's beauty and make the most of our time. They evoke feelings of peacefulness and tranquillity, as well as a sense of impermanence, as a flower blooms and fades quickly, just like our own lives.

 

In 2022, Skipper achieved a remarkable accomplishment by winning the 2nd prize in the online painting competition known as "country and urban". This earned her a virtual solo exhibition. Besides that, she gained recognition as one of the top ten Hong Kong New Ink Artists with Unique Style in the same year. It is an outstanding honour for Skipper and a testament to her hard work and dedication to her art.
